Jairaj had always wanted to be a big star.
He wanted to see his name up in lights above theatres.
He wanted people screaming for his autograph.
He wanted the paparazzi chasing him everywhere for a photograph of him.
But he knew that would never happen as he was a fat middle-aged balding man with no talent for acting or singing.
On his way back from work he stopped to help a little old lady who was being attacked by street toughs.
After chasing them off he helped her home.
She thanked him for his assistant and offered him a reward.
Seeing the lady did not have much he did not want anything.
He told her it was just something anybody would do.
She took him by the hand and said I know what you want.
You want to be famous and admired by millions.
She gave him a strange looking rupee and said put this underneath your pillow tonight when you go to bed and in the morning your life will have changed.
He did not believe her but took the coin and did what she said.
The next morning he awoke in the body of Kareena Kapoor an actress he loved and admired and was secretly jealous off.
