He never felt like the boy he should be.
He he was never interested in sports.
He was not interested in going camping with the local Scouts.
He just wanted to stay at home and be with his mother the one person he felt comfortable around.
He did not know when the realisation hit him that he just wanted to be like his mother.
But all of his happiest memories were around her.
Like when he was 8 years old & he would watch her put on her makeup for a night out.
Or like going shopping with her & he would sit outside the changing rooms waiting for her to give her his honest opinion on her outfit.
He came to the realisation that he wanted to be her daughter not her son.
So after discussing it with his mother who gave him her blessing and many interviews with his psychiatrist and a psychologist he was given the green light to go ahead with the procedure.
So on the day of his procedure he entered the clinic for the last time as Anthony with his mother & 16 hours later he left as Amanda.
Despite the discomfort of a full body modification and the mental confusion of going from male to female Anthony finally felt at home in his body.
