Jason did not know how the spell would work when he cast it.
He had no idea that it would give him a woman's head.
But that's what happened and despite all his best efforts, he could not find a way to undo it.
Which left him in a peculiar situation.
Did he dress in women's clothes and pretend to be a woman or did he make his female face look masculine with the aid of makeup and continue like nothing had happened.
He tried it both ways and found people could always tell there was something different about him.
So in the end he gave up hiding what had happened to him and went out into the world as a man with a woman's head.
This turned out very lucrative for him as he got a job modelling men's shoes and women's cosmetics because with his peculiarity they could do it all with one model and one photoshoot which saved the modelling agency a fair bit of money & time.
