The council of men who governed the everyday life and laws women had to follow awoke to find themselves transformed into women.
They could not understand how this had happened.
They could not understand why it had happened to them.
Each of them discovered apart from just becoming women they all had strict and demanding husbands who expected a lot from them.
There was nothing more than property.
They had to follow the strict and unfair laws they imposed upon many women.
They had to cover up from head to foot if they left the house.
They were not allowed to speak.
They were not entitled to an education.
They were not entitled to work.
They were expected to stay home, be good wives, and give their husbands many sons.
They were not happy in their new lives.
