Part of the tribe.

70 year old Alan and  55 year old Michael were flying over the rainforest in a small aircraft surveying river levels.

There light aircraft was hit by a bird and the engine stalled out.

With no landing spot they brace themselves for a rough landing.

Both men were knocked out in the rough landing.

When they were found by a local tribe they were both badly injured and barely alive.

The tribes people brought them back to their village where they performed a ritual of healing and of new life.

When both men came to 3 days after their crash they found themselves lying on the ground in a mud hut covered in strange looking plants and leaves.

Both men felt strange and different.

They felt healthier younger and full of life.

It was only when they made their way out from underneath the leaves that they both notice what had happened to each other.

Somehow they were now in young women.

They now understood the language spoken by the tribes people.

The tribes people explain to them when they found them they were practically dead.

They performed a ritual of life on them which repair damaged bodies.

As this was the first time the ritual was used on somebody from outside the tribe they were not sure what it would do to them.

Allen and Michael did not know if the ritual had changed their minds as well as their bodies but as far as they were concerned being attractive women was a small price to pay for being alive.

They decided to join the tribe and leave their old lives behind.
