Seventeen-year-old William could not help noticing that his mother was acting strange when she returned from her every Wednesday morning hair appointment.

It was like everything was new to her and she was getting used to it all.

It was like she no longer was herself.

Over the next couple of days things went from bad to worse.

She started using foul and coarse language.

She started smoking and drinking heavily.

She started wearing more revealing clothes. 

She seemed to act like a completely different person..

He even caught a trying to pee standing up and getting frustrated with herself for pissing all over the bathroom floor.

He had no idea the person he was living with was not his mother.

He had no idea that his mother was now sitting in the local sanatorium crawling like a newborn baby with no idea whose she was and thanks to the shapeshifter removing her fingerprints and identity papers they had no way of tracing her family.
