Michael decided that the most ethical way to test his new quantum teleportation machine was for him to do so on himself.

If he could use it with no ill effects, he would then allow someone else to try it.

He stepped into the Point-A pod, closed the door, pressed the button, and was physically deconstructed on an atomic level.

The machine worked. 

The latch on the door of the Point-B pod turned and the door slowly squeaked open to reveal a quivering figure struggling up from the floor.

What Michael had been unaware of, when he stepped into his invention, was that a mosquito had been on his neck about to bite him.

To understand what happened to Michael, 2 facts about mosquitoes must be understood:

1 Only female mosquitoes bite.

2 They only bite when they are high in sex hormones and ready to breed.

The creature that emerged from the Point-B pod once she could get to her feet looked fundamentally like a female version of Michael with longer, slimmer legs.

Unlike many women, she likes her meat rare. Her interest in technology is now mostly limited to the functions of her cell phone.

She spends most of her time manipulating human males into buying her meals and fruity drinks.

Her pheromones are part of why she is so highly effective at accomplishing these ends. 

She appreciates when men give her flowers which she has the surprising and intriguing habit of licking for their nectar.

She is particularly fond of orchids. 

She is constantly eager to breed - often entering strange men’s homes at night or flitting about where men congregate.

She also uses men as a source of nutrients, investing considerable time and effort in sucking the seminal fluid out of them. 

She also seeks human females out - especially those who are pregnant or lactating.
