I am one of them.

Anthony was an activist and believed passionately about saving the rainforest.

He wrote pamphlets he organised protests and marches to highlight the problem.

But he felt nothing was happening quick enough.

So he decided to get a group of like-minded students together and go out there to protest in person.

They took a commercial flight to Brazil and a small charter plane into the heart of the Codajás region.

They chain themselves to trees and machinery and broadcasted on their smartphones the destruction on the World Wide Web.

The Brazilian military were brought in to remove them from the logging site.

They felt they had done great work protecting the rainforest and highlighting what was going on.

They were halfway across the rainforest when the small aeroplane they were on suffered engine failure and they plummeted into the rainforest.

That was the last thing Anthony remembered before waking up in a cage with native women staring at him.

He was terrified that they were Cannibals and they were going to eat him.

He tryed to get them to understand that he was on their side with little success.

He wondered if he was the only survivor.

He wondered what happened to the rest of his group.

He had refused to this point to eat or drink anything they had provided him.

But his hunger was so intense.

He could refuse no longer and gobbled down the ball of plant moss and suck the red looking liquid they gave him to drink which made him feel dizzy and sick.

He awoke some hours later tied down to a crude looking table with white stuff all over his skin which made it burn.

The pain was especially excruciating between his legs.

He felt like his privates were being burnt off.

When he came to a few hours later lying on the table untied he guessed he must have passed out due to the pain.

He spotted there was nobody around and climbed off the table which made him wince with pain as he stumbled towards the huts opening.

He was grateful to be out in the fresh air.

He looked around for a route of escape.

But everywhere he looked there was tribespeople.

Who did not seem to be bothered by him anymore.

He wondered why they had not locked him straight back up after what they had done to him.

He started walking down the slope to the water and felt the strangest feeling on his chest.

He looked down to see what was bouncing and jiggling and discovered he was now a woman and by the looks of things they had turned him into a member of their tribe.

Which made him wonder what else they were going to do to him.

He made it down to the river and climbed into a wooden kayak and found himself terrified to leave the tribe.

He climbed out of the kayak made it back up the slope to the village.

He sat down with the other villagers and started to help them strip ears of corn which made him feel at home.
