Matthew did not believe in cursed or haunted items until after he bought a second hand vintage TV to play his vintage console games on.
He plugged it in and the image of a beautiful young lady sitting at the end of a bed naked staring at him & with a sweet angelic voice thanked him for releasing her from her before a flash of bright light hit him and his whole body was enveloped by the bright pulsating light that made his body feel all warm and tingly as it swapped him with the woman on the screen before the TV faded to static.
Leaving him sitting at the end of the bed staring at the TV waiting for somebody else to plug it in and turn it on so he could be free.
