The Empty House

Philip ran from the house without stopping to look back as he had finally escaped from his own living nightmare.

The Old Wycombe mansion sat on a hill overlooking the town.

It was reputed to be the most haunted house in the county.

Philip was a homeless man and was just looking for somewhere to shelter from the cold winter night.

Without knowing the legend of the house thought it would be a good place to stay.

He awoke after his first night sleeping rough in the house to find everything had changed instead of being in his dirty old sleeping bag he was in a soft bed.

As he got out gently and felt the rich texture of a rug on his feet and the warm air from the open fireplace he was a bit confused and thought to himself he must stay off the white whiskey.

He gently walked across the room to the fire to take in the warmth as he past a mirror he got the shock of his life.

He could see a beautiful young woman looking back at him.

It took him several minutes in is confused state to work out that he was now the a woman.

Just as he was about to scream a woman entered the room and said well let's get you dressed.

You cannot go down to breakfast naked and before he knew it he was bundled into a beautiful looking dress and with that he screamed and ran out of the room downstairs and out of the door.

Two men that were working in a nearby field sore the young lady running down the hill and the two men looked at each other and just said there goes another one foolish enough to sleep in that house.

Do they ever read the warning signs.
