1960s

Jason stood by the crackling fire, the flickering light casting playful shadows across the room. He nervously adjusted the neckline of his very low-cut dress, which clung to his body in a way that felt both empowering and vulnerable. As he waited for his date, Roderick, to finish getting ready, anticipation simmered within him.

When he first travelled back in time to the 1960s, he had feared for his safety in a world where women had few rights and men often displayed overt sexism. The idea of living in a woman's body made him anxious, and he worried about how he would navigate a landscape filled with outdated norms and expectations. Despite those fears, his striking looks, quick intellect, and charismatic personality had allowed him to capture the attention—and affection—of a wealthy man who had swept him off his feet.

Yet, as the days turned into nearly a week of courtship, Jason found himself grappling with an uncomfortable truth. Their time together had been filled with sweet kisses and the excitement of heavy petting, but it had not progressed beyond that. Jason was all too aware that relationships often hinged on a give-and-take dynamic, and he felt an increasing pressure to reciprocate the lavish gifts and attention Roderick had bestowed upon him.

Just as those thoughts buzzed in his mind, the bedroom door swung open, and Roderick emerged. He looked effortlessly dashing in his sharp dinner tuxedo, the fabric tailored to perfection, accentuating his broad shoulders and trim waist. Jason felt a rush of heat flood through him, igniting a strange blend of desire and nervousness. As his heart raced, he noticed a tantalising warmth beginning to pool between his legs, a visceral reaction aligning all too perfectly with his mental anticipation for the night ahead. Both his body and mind clearly yearned for the same thing—that elusive intimacy—and he doubted he would be going to bed alone with a book tonight.
