Dr William Thomas was working in the maternity ward when the great shift occurred. In the blink of an eye, he found himself in the Body of a pregnant woman who was there for a checkup. Despite the shock, he stayed calm, put on scrubs, and returned to work. He focused on caring for all the patients who were coming in, many of whom were in far worse condition than he was.
Marcus had spent months watching Sarah, the attractive, forty-something single mother living across the hall, through the spyhole of his rundown apartment. The day he unlocked his psychic ability, he didn't hesitate. He thrust his consciousness into her body, stepping into her sunlit kitchen while his old physical frame collapsed on his stained mattress. He spent the evening reveling in her soft skin, wrapped in a silk robe, subtly testing the boundaries with her twenty-year-old son, Leo. He brushed past Leo in the narrow hallway, trailing suggestive comments and leaning in just a fraction too close, enjoying the utter confusion and dark, illicit tension flashing across the young man's face as his "mother" suddenly began acting like an entirely different woman.
