Jack was the star of the football team, but everything changed when, during the Great Shift, he swapped bodies with his ex-girlfriend (ex-girlfriend, because he slept with other cheerleaders behind her back) and became captain of the cheerleading squad. Initially, he tried to get back on the team, but his Body wasn't suited for it. Furthermore, he lacked the coordination necessary to be on the cheerleading squad. To make matters worse, his ex-girlfriend in his old Body was the star of the team, even better than he was before, and was expected to be in the NFL. He still wanted to be part of the team, so his friend suggested he privately cheer on the team in the locker room. During these cheers, his ex-girlfriend in his Body was the most satisfying, and as the new captain, she always got the right to start. He saw a hint of satisfaction in her eyes, telling him he'd gotten what he deserved.
