Michael was not religious; he did not believe in God.
He did not believe in the Trinity or the Catholic Church, but when the great shift put him in the Body of a novice, he found it really hard to get out of the nunnery.
As far as the church was concerned, this was a holy plan.
He was meant to be a Bride of Christ and would not release him.
