We swopped bodies

It was 1935, and Jack did not want to go to war when his construction papers arrived. It was 1935, and Jack felt a sinking dread when his draft papers arrived—he had no desire to go to war. In stark contrast, his sister, always the adventurous tomboy, was excited about the prospect of joining the service. Though she would only be enlisted in the women's corps and not on the front lines, her enthusiasm was infectious. Then, a bold and strange idea struck them both simultaneously: what if they could swap bodies? This way, she could join the fight alongside the men, while Jack could remain home to care for their mother and father as the ideal Daughter.

When Jack set off with the other recruits for basic training, an extraordinary and bizarre event unfolded. He suddenly found himself inhabiting his sister's body, dressed girlishly in the woods and feeling the gentle breeze swirl around his legs. Meanwhile, she was in his body, jostling in the back of a rugged truck filled with rowdy men heading to training. Miraculously, their wishes had come true. Both were thrilled to embrace their newfound identities, but little did they know that this swap would lead to unexpected complications, heartaches, and dangers.
