Michael never believed in the giant pumpkin until the night he was lost in a pumpkin patch and had to spend the night amongst them.
The great pumpkin appeared to him and made him the Maiden of the patch.
Now he wanders the pumpkin field, making sure they are fertile and full of love and mischief for any man who spends a night amongst them with him.
To save the school year, a student makes a deal with the professor. He simply asks the boy's mother to go alone to the meeting to test a painless device he developed. After the meeting, his mother seemed a little confused about his identity, but in the following days she regained her memory. Days later, the professor's body was found in his home. Before he died, he secretly left his pension to the boy's mother and him. The boy found it a bit strange; his mother seemed brilliant, helping with homework. In fact, to prolong his life, the professor created a ray that transfers his mind to another body, merging with the mind of its host—meaning he had the memories of the boy's single mother and her incredible brain. She wouldn't share this body with anyone and would be a better mother/mentor to her new son.
