Uncle Simon was a shape-shifter.
Quite a lot of people in his family were born with the shapeshifting gene.
His mother had always wanted a normal life had taken on a beautiful female form and had left the family behind.
She had gotten married and had a kid.
She was killed with her husband in the car crash the only survivor was the child.
The child will sent to live with his uncle who turned himself into an exact copy of his sister Robert's mother.
Now and then Simon had to relinquish the form and recharge his energies.
So that was when his mother would go away on business trips and Simon would come to stay.
Now he knew the truth he did not know what to think.
That's when his own ability kicked in and he found himself transforming for the first time.
