17-year-old Tony who went swamp bodies with his pregnant mother rate shift was so grateful for the home help he had.
His mother now in his body was not much help.
She was too busy having fun sleeping around and enjoying herself to worry about him and her baby.
He thought child worth would be the hardest part of it all.
He never knew how hard being a mother was.
Nappy changing breastfeeding taking care of the baby and yourself was a herculean task.
Not to mention the mental changes and depression he was feeling from postpartum.
But thankfully a local charity had gifted him six weeks of at-home maternity care.
They had sent a qualified midwife around who was helping him learn how to do all the things he needed to do to take care of himself in the baby.
He was pretty sure without her things would have been a lot worse.
He was pretty sure without her the baby would be in care and he would be in a hospital suffering from nervous exhaustion.
That's right Tony you're holding the baby right?
