Samuel and Mary had swapped bodies a year ago to help their relationship.

Samuel in Mary's body fell in love with it.

There was one thing he wanted in the world that Mary did not and he thought this was his opportunity to get it.

Without telling her he took himself off the pill.

Of course, by the end of the therapy, he was now pregnant.

Mary was angry and annoyed with him for doing this.

He knew she did not want to be a mother.

She opted to leave him in her body to go through it himself.

She signed the paperwork making the swap permanent.

Nine months passed slowly.

Samuel found himself getting bigger every day.

He found morning sickness a terrible thing.

He spent the next couple of months wobbling around with an ever-increasing aching back and swollen ankles.

He found himself constantly having to go to the toilet.

Then there were the endless doctor's appointments and birthing classes.

He was starting to regret his decision by the 8th month as his due date got ever closer.

When his water finally broke and contractions started he was not looking forward to the end game.

6 hours and 35 minutes after going into labour he pushed out a beautiful baby girl.

Married despite her reservations was there in a delivery room with him.

She held his hand and encouraged him through all the pain and agony.

She was a proud father of the baby that Samuel exhausted and tired and held in his arms lovingly.

That had been almost 6 months ago now and Samuel was starting to feel the strain of being a new mother.

Like a lot of new mums, he had decided to breastfeed which was one of the greatest experiences he had ever experienced in his life.

But it meant to be woken up several times in the night to feed.

Then there was nappy changing which wasn't very pleasant.

Mary of course played the happy father but refused to change nappies or bottle feed in the night so he could get a good night's sleep.

Samuel exhausted and needing a break asked his wife Mary if she would take the baby for an afternoon so he could go and get his hair done and relax.

Mary just looked at him and said why should I.

You're the one who wanted to feel the choice of pregnancy and motherhood.

I told you it wasn't going to be all fun.

I told you it was a lot of hard work stress and tiredness.

But you wanted to try it so you stopped taking the pill when you were in my body and did not tell me.

You got pregnant making the swap permanent and I was trapped in your body.

I love you and the baby but as I told you before it's your responsibility.

So suck it up and enjoy your decision.

I'm off out with the boys tonight so you can have a bit of peace with the baby without me around.

Samuel just stared at her with a headache forming and said I'm just asking for your help.

We're still husband and wife and this is your child too.

I did not know it would be this hard.

Mary just left to join the boys.

She found herself that night when she got home sleeping on the couch and getting a very frosty welcome the next morning for Samuel who had had a very uncomfortable night.

Samuel looked at Mary and said if this is how it's going to be I rather be a single mother.

If you're not going to help I want you to move out and we will file for divorce.

Mary had not expected this from her husband.

She guessed something inside of him must have snapped.

She knew she was on fragile ice now.

She promised him this weekend she would get a babysitter and they would go out for the evening.

She fought to herself as she drove to work that morning maybe I should be thanking him for this.

My life has been a lot better since swapping bodies with him.

I love being a man a husband and a father.

Maybe I should show that more to him.

I must remember he is now an emotional woman who needs affection and love.

She promised herself she would try to do better and be a better man from now on.
