When Tony reach puberty he discovered by accident he had the powers to shapeshift (He discovered it whilst masturbating to an image of his teacher who he turned into).
Ever since then he had been using his abilities to turn himself into various people.

He did not expect when he jumped out of the closet looking like the guy from Texas Chainsaw Massacre she would have a massive heart attack and drop dead.
He disposed of her body and turned himself into an exact copy of her.
He decided that he would pretend to be her for her teenage son until he went off to college.
So during the day he kept house and had sex with anybody he wanted and by night he was the perfect loving mother.
