He was a shapeshifters, or were shaper, which means that he can change his shape into anyone he wans. He discovered it by accident. Was it that he had it, or developed it over time, that something strange happen. He didn't really know.

He was sorta scared at first. But after time, and practiced. He could control it. Be the person he was at the time. Thou he looked the person, sounded like the person. With practice he acted like the person. So he was that person. For some reasons he mostly choice girls or women. That he liked. Thou the transformation lasted a few days or a week at a time.
Second was that being someone important was tricked at best, and could get with it. But so one less important was more tricky at best.
He been doing this for several years always being careful not to be really noticed. Not to over do it. Not to take to much , not to be that person to long.
At time he has several special place for himself. So he can be them as long as he wants. But do it be them in public from time to time. To add to there mystery.
He still has a picture of who he was, so if he want to return to himself again. But why would be a common person again. Or should be common again.
