John wasn't much of a fan of the UK royal family.
He found them to be condescending to common folk like himself.
He believed that the French had the right idea on how to deal with them.
So it was a shock to him when he unknowingly managed to travel to an alternate dimensions.
where he was this dimensions version of Kate Middleton.
Who was not just a duchess but the queen (the royal lineage was obviously different in this world).
A change in opinion was needed if he wanted to get used to this new life.

DeleteI agree with Anonymous. How does he get treated as a duchess and queen? How does he feel about that? How does he feel about the clothing he wears now? How does he dress when not in public? How will he feel about contributing to the royal lineage??? How does he feel as the medium for the carrying on of the kings genes???? So many questions!
