19 year old James pouring with sweat in the most agonising pain he had ever felt in his life screamed get this thing out of me as he bear down and pushed.
3 hours later his ordeal was over and he had given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
He lay in the hospital bed holding the sleeping bundle of joy in his arms feeling warm and contented like he had never felt in his life before.
Staring at the baby he thought back to those first early days after the great shift when he discovered he had gotten more than just this woman's body.
He thought back to how frightened scared and angry he was with the world and the great shift for doing this to him.
But now he was no longer angry with the great shift as he had more important things to worry about like was he going to be a good mother and would he be able to cope on his own.
