There consciousness would be sent back into the past into the bodies of two people who had no historic value or taken any major part in historic events to avoid corrupting the timeline whilst their bodies were kept in stasis in their own time.
Both men took it in turn to be the woman in the past.
So they could see historic events from both sides of the gender fence and see how different life was between men and women in the past.
They had spent time in many bodies getting a feel for the time period and how people lived & watching and learning about historic events first-hand.
But this was the first time either of them had happened to land in the body of a pregnant woman.
Which did not please Simon seeing he was the woman this time around especially when he felt water running down his legs and the contractions started which left him in no doubt that he was going to be the first one out of them to experience child labour.
Which did not make him happy seeing they were back in the early 1600 before proper medicine and painkillers & they had 7 hours before they were recalled.
As Jason just looked on shocked horrified and not sure what to do as Simon started moaning out loud.
