Thomas and Rachel embraced each other and kissed as they met on the quayside after his long deployment happy to be together once again.
Thomas did not care about the Navy disapproving of his relationship and he did not care that it could hurt his career.
As far as he and his girlfriend sore it nothing had changed apart from him becoming a woman due to an accident and being exposed to an experimental substance his ship was carrying.
Why should it bother the navy that they were both still in love with each and willing to make a go of it.
