Not sure you belong.

James was reluctant at first and did not see the point of going to the little Garden Party thrown by his birth class so expected mothers could get to know each other outside the classroom & despite not being the only pregnant woman at the party he still felt very self conscious about his baby bump.

He wasn't like most of the other women and expectant mothers as he was a 36 year old man before the great shift who got a little bit wasted in his new body and discovered cheap alcohol & unprotected sex was not a good combination now that he was a woman.

He just felt so much out of place and unprepared for what was to come but despite his reservations he quickly discovered most of the other women accepted him as one of them and he quickly found out that he was not the only one bricking it at the thought of having a baby as despite being born women having a baby and becoming mothers was just as a big learning curve for them as it was for him.

Which in a strange way made him feel better as he knew he was not alone in this situation.
