The mutual bonds of womanhood.

Sydney sat there talking to the midwife as she tried to reassure him that everything was going to be okay.

She tried to explain to him that hundreds of women go through this every year and there was nothing to worry about according to the latest check ups he and his baby we're doing fine.

But he still could not help worrying about things.

He was a man before the great shift gave him a woman's body.

If he was ever going to have children he was supposed to be the father not the mother this was not something they prepared you for when you were growing up as a man.

But he just could not get used to all the changes his body was going through.

He had just gotton used to having a period.

He wasn't even ready to start a family yet.

But one drunken one night stand 4 months ago and using no form of contraception he now had to deal with the consequences.

But at least the man said he would stand by him and he would not have to go through this alone.

But it was one thing to have a one night stand with this man but it was another to find out that you were now carrying his child and that he wanted to take care of you & the child.

Sydney let out a sharp moan as the baby kicked.

The midwife placed a hand on his swollen belly feeling the baby kick beneath and said you've got a strong one there.
