What would have been.

Jason became a young woman in the great shift.

He was not happy at first but the longer he spent as a woman the more he adapted to it and it wasn't long before he started wearing female clothing, having his hair and nails done in the salon and now actually enjoyed spending time with his sister who was unaffected by the great shift.

She was a great help to him as she had 17 years of experience as a female & even though she found it hilarious sometimes the way he acted to certain situations she always did her best to support him and help him through the more complicated things of being a woman.

It was almost three years after the great shift now & she was now going by the name Jessica and wondered when he had started thinking of himself as a she.

Most of society had gotton back to normal & she was now working at Macy's and was loving the staff 10% discount as by now she had caught the fashion bug and would not be seen in last year's fashion.

She even started dating one of the stockroom boys named Matt and was even brave enough to tell him that she used to be a man named Jason which did not bother Matt one bit as he was besotted by her.

They took it slow and steady unto Jessica was ready to be intimate with a man but that was not to say that she did not practice with her friend the vibrating rabbit as everybody has needs.

She was pleasantly surprised by the experience and how gentle Matt was with her and their relationship went from strength to strength.

Jessica even brought Matt home to meet her parents which showed how serious there relationship was and that's when Matt asked Jessica's dad for permission to marry his daughter before proposing to her.

Which Jessica gladly accepted and they were married almost 6 months afterwards and it was not long before Jessica was expecting her first child which made Jessica and Matt's parents happy as all parents expect grandchildren one day.

That was almost 5 years ago.

Jessica stood at the kitchen counter cooking dinner and watching the children playing waiting for her husband to come home.

She was happy and content in her little life but sometimes found herself wondering what her life would have been if the great shift had not caused so much devastation & she was still a man
instead of being a housewife and a mother of three children.
