An ounce of truth.

Samuel was regretting finding that old monkey's paw on Portobello Road market but he just had to buy it.

The Monkey's Paw was one of his favorite stories by W.W. Jacobs and bought it just for a laugh.

He never believed the story but a lot of things put down as fiction sometimes have an ounce of truth to them which he suddenly found out when he showed it to his girlfriend who was disgusted by the item and told him to throw it out of the house.

He went about explaining why he bought it and wouldn't it be marvelous if The Monkey's Paw really did work as she grabbed hold of the horrible item and said let's see if it works as she wished for her boyfriend to see things from her point of view as one of the fingers on The Monkey's Paw closed in upon itself which made her throw it away in horror.

But as nothing had happened they both went to bed.

But in the morning his girlfriend had a terrible shock as she woke up next to her identical twin who in reality was her boyfriend but he was not too worried about being a woman as he was more worried about the ending of the book.
