Whilst traveling through Europe on a gap year from college he decided to visit a travelling circus that was staying not far from his hostel.
A few too many beers later he decided to have his fortune read.
He did not believe in that sort of thing but he thought it would be a good laugh.
Knot believing what the gypsy said was going to happen in his future and thinking she was just a charlatan.
He did the stupidest thing he could have he insulted the Gypsy and then knocked over the table and started hurling insults at her demanding his money back.
She just raised two fingers at him and started shouting in Romani Tu nu va ști niciodată fericirea doar suferință și va lucra doar pentru a vă rugăm dorințele oamenilor & with that he stormed out of the tent and headed back to the hostel.
In the morning he woke with a pounding head and aching stomach feeling like he had gone through 50 rounds with a bear as his eyes adjusted to the morning gloom he noticed other changes like he was no longer in the hostel but what look like a prostitutes boudoir and for some reason he was now a woman.
He seem to understand the words she said last night: You will never know happiness only suffering and you will only work to please the desires of men.
The click of the key in the door brought him back to reality a man entered his room telling him it was time to get to work as his first client was here he was now stuck in some backwater eastern european town in the body of a young woman working as a prostitute.
He knew there was no escape from his new life and just went to work that's when his mind took over his body and went into a form of autopilot with him as a passenger seeing and feeling all the horrors he now had to suffer through.
