Throwback to the 1800.

Lionel sat there in a state of shock and bewilderment one minute he was doing his paper round and the next he was in a blue and white dress with blonde ringlets falling down in front of his eyes and a very large heaving bosom sticking out in front of him which told him in no uncertain facts that he was now a woman.

He did not recognise the style of clothing the others were wearing or half of what the teacher was telling them as he sat there trying to stop the panic growing inside of him from overwhelming him.

On the desk in front of him was a book with the words charm and deportment for young ladies on its cover.

Lionel heard a strong male voice shout lady Monroe are we boring you Lionel looked up and said are you talking to me sir?

Mr Grey the English teacher said is there another lady Monroe at this finishing school with that Lionel went red in the face and did his best to follow the lesson.

After class was over Lionel and the other girls had some free time and Lionel used it wisely to find out where he was.

Somehow Lionel had been ripped from his normal life in the year 2015 and placed in the body of a young lady in 1855 at Withnails girls finishing school.

He did his best to cope with the rest of the day and tried to keep up with the lessons.

But he got caned by his music teacher and by his Latin tutor for not knowing the basics they had been working on for the past few weeks.

Back in his dorm room he found the young ladies diary under her pillow with her nightie he quickly looked through it looking for an explanation and he found it in the last page.

It read. 

June 1st 1855
To whoever is reading this I am sorry.

My father is forcing me to marry the count of Bergen who is 65 and I do not love him.
I am being treated like cattle at a market.

My curse was that I was born a woman and therefore I should marry to increase my father's wealth and power but I will not do it I will defy him all the way.

I have found an escape route in a old book  but I do not fully understand it.

I brood up the potion as the book instructed and drink it down before bed it was the most revolting thing I have ever tasted but if I have done it correctly I will find myself in a new life.

I will take over somebody else's body and they would be in turn be in mine.

I would not do it if there was another way but to whoever is reading my diary I am sorry for what I have done to you.

And with that Lionel knew there was no hope of getting home he was trapped in the past in the body of a young woman who was being forced to marry a man she did not love.

What was he going to do to get out of this?
