Before the great shift Jason did not have a lot of job options.

He was a college dropout and had a criminal record as long as your arm which put most employers off which meant he would end up doing minimum wage work for anybody.

Not much had changed after the great shift but Jason now being in the body of a young woman found his job prospects even harder with his smaller feminine frame most construction sites would not take him on so he resorted to the one job that he did not need any qualifications for.
