During the Cold War, the Russians experimented with a new type of weapon named генетический уборочная машина roughly translated as the genetic sweeper.
The weapon was designed to only affect certain DNA profiles.
That would leave all buildings crops and animals ready for an invasion & would turn all males into docile females as the invading forces would need a good breeding stock to strengthen their numbers.
That would leave the armed forces of the countries that they were going to invade overstretched.
This image shows 7 Russian soldiers accidentally infected with the toxin.
But it was never used in a large-scale invasion yet!
