He was sure that he could recreate the accident that had sent his consciousness through a micro Wormhole he had accidentally created in his laboratory trapping him back in time having to possessing this woman to survive.
After 4 long months he had finally managed to track down the components he needed to build a simpler version of his device.
Heading back to his basement bedsit carefully carrying the package containing the last few diodes and other odds and sods he needed to finish his device he was reminded by a kick how little time he had left.
Despite the substandard components he had to use & the complexity of his device he was sure it would work.
After 3 days of hard work he had finally finished it and could not wait to try it out.
He plugged it in and blue half the power in the neighborhood but it had worked.
He felt his consciousness leaving this woman's body as it was sucked into the micro man made wormhole.
leaving a dazed and confused woman lying on the floor wondering where she was as the device spectacularly exploded.
