Mark believed his wife Sandra had an easy life.
He believed what she did all day was relaxing around the house while he worked his fingers to the bone.
He never stopped to consider that she did all the cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.
She got sick and tired of him complaining about how hard his life was compared to hers.
She offered him the opportunity to swap bodies with her so he could experience what she did every day, and she could experience what he did.
After swapping bodies, they exchanged their daily routines.
He could not believe he had to be about five-thirty to get himself ready before cooking breakfast.
He could not believe how many things he did every day.
There was cooking breakfast and doing the part.
Changing the beds and him in the laundry.
Hoovering the house and dusting.
Cleaning the bathroom and toilet.
Food shopping and collecting dry cleanly.
Preparing the evening meal.
Making oneself presentable for one's husband returning from work.
Serving dinner and baking, he's got a drink in his hand.
Clean up afterwards, 30 minutes before your husband, so you can get your feminine night-time routine out of the way before he needs to use the bathroom.
Mark stared at the list in disbelief and said it was too much for one person to do.
She just looked at him as he read through his list and said, " Well, that's what I do. Let's see what you do.
Get up, shave, get dressed, and have breakfast.
Head off to the office at 8 o'clock.
Get to the office at 9 o'clock.
Work on accounts until 12, and have coffee; some would be prepared by the secretary.
Work on the three o'clock.
Drinks with Mark and Frank at Tony's bar.
Head home at 5.
She had a wonderful day doing his job and following his routine to the letter.
He did not have quite as good a day as she did.
Everything was hard work, complicated, and time-consuming.
By the time she got back from his job, he had barely done half of her list and had not even started dinner.
Disappointed by this, andra decided to extend their stay in each of our bodies by three weeks.
She told him, hopefully, by then he would know what he was doing and would deserve to be a man again.
She sat down with the newspaper in the living room whilst he went into the kitchen to prepare something for their teeth,th depressed and upset that he had three more weeks of this to do.
