Josef had always wanted to be a beautiful woman who did not have to work for a living.
One night he was watching A Handmaid's Tale and said out loud when one of his favourite actresses Elisabeth Moss came on screen.
I wish I could be like her meaning he wanted to be like the actress not the character she was prorating.
If only he had knew when he said those fatal words a drunk fairy would be flying by his home and upon hearing his words she granted him what he wanted he might have chose his words a little bit more carefully.
But he did not and now he is Elisabeth Mosses character in A Handmaid's Tale for real.

Josef wanted to be a woman, a real women, physically, biologically, genetically actual woman. But not any kind of woman, but beautiful woman does not need to work.

He admirer her, he wished that he could be like her.
But fairy who had a bit to drink, heard this , but in her drunk state, both heard it, but miss understood it, and granted it.
He was surprised, shocked and happy. Thou he is who a woman physically, biologically, but actually a Handmaid from the movie. It seem somehow he is in a world which women are second class citizens, and women who can be pregnant are a special class of women. Who job are to bred with certain men. To bring new children to this society.
